Summer Stage was built in1950 by the project engineer Baltazar Dulić, who found the most acoustic location in the heart of the Great Park for a fabulous stage with centennial pine trees behind as a backdrop. It was designed for classical plays and operas. This theater was made of rough natural stone completely embedded in nature and it provides viewers with an idyllic atmosphere under clear skies. The most famous event held here is the European Film Festival that takes place every year in July.
